The Prepaid Plan

Prepaid plans are affordable and are readily accessible by most people. This type of plan works when a person purchases prepaid cards. This prepaid card is available in different amounts and usually has an expiry date of one month. This type of plan is suitable for people who only need to make calls or send text messages when necessary and not on a regular basis.

The Difference between Postpaid and Prepaid Calling Plans

Between the two calling plans, not too many differences exist. Call quality and call costs are the same when made on either calling plan. One difference however, is that prepaid calls are limited to the amount purchased by the subscriber. Once the subscriber consumes his or her calling cards, then he or she cannot make any more calls or send any more text messages. On a postpaid plan, calls are made freely and any excess made will be seen later on the phone bill.

Choosing a Calling Plan

Since there are many types of calling plans available, it is best to sit down and think over the choices available. A postpaid plan is perfect for people who always make transactions over the phone, example businessmen and the like. A prepaid plan is perfect for people who only use their phones when necessary. A postpaid plan is also perfect for people who are able to pay their bills and any excess fees every month with no delays. If not, the person can make do with the prepaid plan. Not all people can consume the number of hours or amount stated in his or her postpaid calling plan, for these types of people, it is best for them to use a prepaid plan instead.
